Jennifer Lopez At CFDA Fashion Awards
Just by hearing its name, you’d expect only the best outfits and dresses on the red carpet of the 2019 CFDA Fashion Awards! That was exactly the case when stars rolled up to the Brooklyn Museum on June 3. As the recipient of the Fashion Icon Award, Jennifer Lopez matched that honor in an attention-demanding set from Ralph Lauren (pictured here). The glitz, the volume, the red chili pepper shade — we wanted to hand out even more awards to JLo!
Red was the color of the night, as more stars like ‘Black-ish’ star Yara Yashidi and model Lili Aldridge hit the carpet in vibrant red hues. Others broke from the pack, like Winnie Harlow who left subtlety at home in a royal purple dress and a gigantic feathered boa from Christian Siriano. Ashley Graham rocked the same designer for a dress that also pushed boundaries with larger-than-life sleeves, a wide brim hat circa Beyoncé at the Grammys, and long arm sleeves — think ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ meets camp.
