Diem Brown & Chris CT Tamburello: A Marriage Proposal Before Death
This is just so sad to hear.
On Nov. 9, five days before she died, Diem was surprised in her hospital room by her love, CT.
Sources close to the couple have revealed that he not only got down on one knee and proposed to Diem, but he also presented her with a ruby ring, reports Us Weekly.
So, what was Diem’s response?
“He proposed and filmed the entire thing. Diem joked that she hated rubies and said no.”
But don’t worry. Chris returned the following day and tried again with a second ring. Unfortunately, Diem said no again.
Even though they may not have been officially engaged, Diem still died knowing that CT loved her as much as she loved him.
Diem Said No Because She Knew She Was Dying
While most women would have jumped at the chance to be engaged — maybe even married — before their final breath, Diem was not most women.
“Diem knew she didn’t have much longer to live, and she didn’t want to be engaged under those circumstances,” the source explained.
However, if Diem’s chances of surviving her battle with cancer were higher, it’s possible that her final response to CT’s proposals would have been different.
Sadly, we’ll never know how that outcome would have played out.
