Clayton Echard and Susie Evans first met on season 26 of ‘The Bachelor.’ Susie was one of Clayton’s final three women, and he told her he loved her on their fantasy suite date. However, she decided to end their relationship when she found out that he had slept with the other two women (Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey) and also told them he loved them.
Clayton continued to pursue relationships with Rachel and Gabby, but broke up with them when he realized his heart was with Susie. He convinced Susie to hear him out again, and although she met him at the final rose ceremony, she told him their relationship was “over,” even though she still had love for him. However, after filming ended, Susie slid into Clayton’s DMs and they rekindled their relationship. At the March 15, 2022 live finale of ‘The Bachelor,’ they confirmed they were back together.
However, by Sept. 2022, Clayton and Susie announced that they had ended their relationship. Still, they didn’t shut the door on things completely, but explained that they were taking time apart to heal on their own.
