Drake Celebrates Canadian Hip-Hop Lineage With OVO Fest Warm-Up Concert

Drake is representing Canadian hip-bob prominence at the ongoing year’s OVO Fest by giving them their own night to shimmer.


The Toronto rapper has pronounced the arrangement for what he’s named the All Canadian North Stars show, a show on Thursday that gets going his yearly extended week’s end music scene.

The show will feature appearances by twelve Canadian hip-bob and rap experts he says “ready” for individuals who came ensuing to, including Choclair, Jully Black, Kardinal Offishall, Keshia Chante and Maestro Fresh Wes. Others on the bill are Glenn Lewis, Shawn Desman, Frank-N-Dank, Saukrates, Vancouver rappers Rascalz and R&B bundle In Essence.


The show will be held at History, a scene that opened with the support of Drake last November, with tickets going at a deal today.


The Thursday show presents what Drake calls October World Weekend: Road to OVO Fest Tour, which moves to Toronto’s Budweiser Stage on Friday for a show including Chris Brown and Lil Baby. On Monday, Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj will lead a social gathering of circles back to the Young Money record mark at the Budweiser Stage.

Drake has as of late said he means to take his OVO Fest making the rounds for its 10th remembrance in 2023 with dates “all around the planet.”
