Lais, who is Brazilian, is best known for her work as a model, especially with Victoria’s Secret. She appeared in her first Victoria’s Secret show in 2010 and gained momentum from there. She became a VS angel in 2015 and it’s led to her becoming one of the most popular international models for the company. She has also walked runways for other popular fashion brands such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, and Marc Jacobs.
Before modeling, Lais was training to become a nurse. After having a son, Alexandre, in 2008, she took a friend’s advice and pursued a career in modeling instead. In addition to fashion shows, she has also appeared in ads for Ralph Lauren, Christian Dior, Tom Ford, American Eagle and more.
