Its no wonder Melanie Hamrick caught the eye of rock star, Mick Jagger, during a Rolling Stones concert one night in 2014. Hamrick, the ballerina for the American Ballet Theater, was at a Stones concert with friends in Japan, when afterward she was invited back stage to rendezvous with the band. Jagger, the legendary lead vocalist for the Stones, instantly hit it off with Hamrick, despite being in a relationship with L’Wren Scott at the time. However, just a few months after the Jagger and Hamrick meeting, L’Wren Scott tragically committed suicide.
Just weeks after the tragedy, Mick and Melanie were spotted out together in Europe. From there, the two developed a strong romance that still remains to this day! Mick’s lucky to have the stunning Melanie, who also is supposedly very kind, generous and down to earth. Stunning In An All Black Dress
Melanie was stunning in an all black, sophisticated dress for the Youth America Grand Prix Gala in New York, in April 2019. The YAGP is one of the most prestigious ballet competitions for the youth ballet community, and brings together some of the world’s most incredible talent.
Showing Some Leg In New York
Hamrick showed off her long, lean legs in a gorgeous Givenchy pink dress, as she arrived at the American Ballet Theater Spring Gala in New York in May 2018. She first joined ABT in 2003 for their summer program, and went on for years after to perform roles in classics including ‘Swan Lake’, ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and ‘Sleeping Beauty.’
Completely Glowing On The Red Carpet
Melanie was glowing on the red carpet in a unique black and white gown, as she attended the American Ballet Theater’s Spring Gala in New York in 2017. She accented the look with a high-fashion take on a ‘ballerina bun’, tightly assembled on the top of her head.
