Mike Fleiss At ‘The Other One; The Long, Strange Trip of Bob Weird’ Premiere
Mike Fleiss is most known for creating the wildly popular dating reality shows, ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘The Bachelorette.’ Asides from being the mastermind behind the ‘Bachelor Nation,’ Mike also has credits in major horror films — he served as the producer for ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ (2003), ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning’ (2006), ‘Hostel’ (2005) and ‘Hostel: Part III’ (2011). He also has a producer credit in the classic ship disaster movie, ‘Poseidon.’
Mike married his high school sweatheart, Alexandra Vorbeck, in 1987 and they split after 24 years in 2012. The television showrunner went on to marry Miss America 2012, Laura Kaeppeler, in 2014 and reportedly filed for divorce from her over ‘irreconcilable differences’ in 2019. A week after filing for divorce, Mike and Laura both accused one another of assault in court documents over a disagreement about Laura’s second pregnancy (Mike reportedly did not want to have a second child, after welcoming a son, Ben, with the beauty pageant title holder in 2015).
