‘Mindhunter’ is a Netflix crime series that premiered in 2017. The show, which is inspired by true events, follows FBI agents Holden Ford and Bill Tench, along with psychologist Wendy Carr. They work at the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit, a division that’s on the rise when the show begins. Ford, Tench, and Carr use behavioral and psychological analysis to hunt down notorious serial killers. The second season premiered in 2019 and revolved mostly around the Atlanta child murders of the early 1980s. However, the team speaks with criminals such as the Son of Sam, Charles Manson, and more. The ending of season 2 left things wide open for a third season, but ‘Mindhunter’ season 3 is currently in question. The show stars Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, Anna Torv, Cameron Britton, Cotter Smith, Stacey Roca, and more. David Fincher serves as an executive producer and directed 7 episodes of the show.
