Scott Disick’s Mother Dies Suddenly
“Scott was very close to his mother,” a source close to the family told RadarOnline.com.
We met Bonnie back in 2011 on season one, episode two, of Kourtney & Kim Take New York. Kourtney, Kim Kardashain and Mason headed there to visit his family — and they were absolutely the sweetest.
Bonnie and her husband Jeff raised Scott, 30, in Eastport, Long Island, New York. Kourtney and Scott traveled to the funeral together, the source said.
“It was a small affair. There was just a handful of people,” the source said of the wake, that took place on Oct. 30. “No other Kardashians beyond Kourtney attended. But the entire family is saddened with the news of Bonnie’s passing. They loved her so much.”
Scott Has Yet To Speak Out On Loss
While Scott is usually very active on social media, he has not said anything about the tragedy. However, it doesn’t come as a surprise to us, as Scott has a difficult time with loss.
We saw Kourtney approach Scott about his fear of being around people who are dying, on the current season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
“You know I’m not good about talking about death, I don’t know that I want to be around someone who is dying,” he said on the episode when he found out a woman with cancer’s last wish was to meet him. After Kourtney helped him with his fears, he did meet her and was so happy to see her happy.
After the visit, he even revealed the issues his father was going through. “Seeing Josie confront her illness really made me think about my dad – who suffers from diabetes and needs a heart replacement – I really don’t talk about it because its so hard for me,” he told the cameras.
