Scott Helman — Pics
The future of pop music is in good hands, thanks to Scott Helman. After finding success in his native land of Canada, the Juno-winning singer-songwriter headed south to build a buzz in the United States. Scott, who signed a developmental deal with Warner Music Canada when he was just 15, released his first single, “Bungalow,” in 2014. It was nominated for best pop Video at the 2015 MuchMusic Video Awards, and was certified gold. From there, his success continued to grow. He released a series of EPs – Augusta, Spotify Sessions – before dropping his debut album, Hôtel de Ville, in 2017. In 2018, his Hang Ups ep helped introduce him to the United States, and fans were ready. While touring in 2019, Scott found audiences singing along to his song “Everything Sucks.”
In addition to his in-studio and on-stage achievements, Scott is a multimedia performer. His YouTube series, Hotel Sessions, features him performing alongside other musicians, often giving a different arrangement of a classic piece of pop music.
