Halsey‘s new hair is an explosion of colors. The 26-year-old singer debuted shoulder-length hair with Billie Eilish-esque green roots that flowed into colors of blue, purple, yellow and orange in an Instagram post on Dec. 4. To show off her rainbow hair makeover, Halsey posed in a hot pink lace bra in the picture, which also let her flaunt her many tattoos of roses, jeans adorned with the Playboy bunny logo and more!
The pop star even coordinated her makeup with the green roots on her head by adding a touch of green sparkly eyeshadow in the inner-corner of her eyes. Fans raved over the new beauty look, including fellow singer Tinashe! “Cuteee,” she wrote, echoing the overwhelming positive comments section that was filled with compliments like “THIS LOOK IS EVERYTHING PLS” and “Stunning wow.”

In her caption, Halsey tagged the Instagram account @a_a_b_o_ut________, which appears to be a secret project that the singer is working on. While Halsey hasn’t explained what the account is for, the page is currently a curation of art and photographs.
A day before revealing the hair makeover, Halsey was rocking a buzzcut, a style that she’s been sporting since debuting it via TikTok in mid-October. Halsey then gave her shaved head another makeover by adding artistic patterns of green, yellow and blue in November, and later channeled major P!nk vibes by dying her buzzcut a shade of hot pink by the end of the month. As you can see, Halsey can pull off any color — just take a look at her hair evolution over the years.
Countless celebrities have been playing around with hair colors throughout quarantine.
