The 77th Tony Awards were filled with surprises and sweet moments. From Jonathan Groff‘s and Daniel Radcliffe‘s victory speeches, to Alicia Keys‘ performance of her hit single “Empire State of Mind,” the annual ceremony celebrated this year’s best on Broadway. Daniel took home his first Tony for his performance in Merrily We Roll Along, and he thanked his girlfriend, Erin Darke, in his tearful speech.
“Thank you so much to our cast, everybody on that stage, it is an honor to be on that stage with you every single night. I will miss it so much,” the Harry Potter franchise star said, while thanking the crew members, his team and his family.
