2019 Toronto Raptors Victory Parade
Leave it to the team from ‘the 6’ to win it in six! The Toronto Raptors made history by winning the 2019 NBA Championship and after a long weekend of celebrating in the States, the team took a well-earned victory lap at home on June 17. After becoming the first non-US team to win the NBA Finals, the Raptors celebrated in Toronto in front of millions of fans (including their biggest supporter and unofficial MVP, Drake.) Kawhi Leonard, Fred VanVleet, Kyle Lowry, and the rest of the Raptors crew basked in the glow of defeating the defending champs, the Golden State Warriors, in a hard-fought victory. While the forecast for Toronto predicted clouds, no rain was going to ruin THIS parade for Raptors fans. For those who couldn’t make it to the Canadian city to partake in this extravaganza, here are some of the highlights from this victory parade. We The North!
