Troian is best known as an actress. Her breakthrough role was as Spencer Hastings in the television series ‘Pretty Little Liars’. Her acting debut came in 1988 when she appeared in the film ‘Last Rites’ at only the age of three. Some of the other series she starred in included ‘NCIS’, ‘Quantum Leap’, and ‘First Monday’. She appeared on ‘Pretty Little Liars’ from 2010-2017 and won two Teen Choice Awards out of six nominations. She also won a Young Hollywood Award for her acting.
In addition to acting, she made her directorial debut in 2016 when she directed an episode of ‘Pretty Little Liars’ from the show’s seventh season.
In 2016, she married actor Patrick J. Adams and the couple had a daughter in Oct. 2018.
