It’s finale day on season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise, and Brandon Jones proposing to Serene Russell is basically a foregone conclusion. The two connected from the moment they met on he first day of filming. Throughout the season, their love has remained strong and their relationship has been drama-free.
During part one of the finale on Nov. 21, Brandon and Serene went into the fantasy suite together. They’ve already professed their love to one another a number of times and have discussed getting engaged at the end of the show. 1. What Happened To Brandon On ‘The Bachelorette’?
Brandon was a contestant on season 18 of The Bachelorette in 2021 with Michelle Young. He was one of the final two men on Michelle’s season, along with Nayte Olukoya. Brandon was ready to get engaged to Michelle at the final rose ceremony and professed his love to her. However, her feelings for Nayte were stronger, and she dumped Brandon. Michelle and Nayte got engaged, but eventually broke up.
2. What Does Brandon Do?
Before becoming a reality star, Brandon worked as a traveling nurse recruiter in Portland, Oregon. He worked at PeaceHealth from Sept. 2020 to Nov 2021, according to his LinkedIn. Before that, he spent six months working in a contract position at Nike as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator. Prior to that, he was an Onsite Manager & Recruiter at Manpower, and he also worked as a Social Media Manager at Riverdale Landscape from Aug. 2018-July 2019.
3. Where Did Brandon Go To College?
Brandon started out by attending Portland Community College for two years from 2012-2014. There, he earned a minor in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. In 2014, he began studying at Western Oregon University. He graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management.
4. Brandon Loves Basketball
A love of basketball is something that Brandon had in common with his Bachelorette ex, Michelle. Brandon is a “self-proclaimed basketball fiend,” according to his ABC bio during The Bachelorette. Since Michelle is a former basketball player, this was a great shared interest for them.
